Sprint PCS today announced the Motorola Brute i680, a rugged phone that meets military 810F standard and withstands harsh environmental conditions. The Brute i680 isn’t a fancy phone like iPhone, but it does have some decent features and specifications. The best selling feature of the phone is its Group Connect feature that reaching out simultaneously to 20 other Nextel Direct Connect subscribers and Talkgroup that allows collaboration .

Made-in-Taiwan Android Powered Tablet PC is Leaked



The gadget in the picture in a Tablet PC called Camangi Webstation, powered by Google’s Android OS. The Tablet PC has 7-inch touch screen (800 × 480 resolution), bigger than Dell Mini 5. Its features and specs include a Marvel PXA33 processor, 128MB Ram (this is too little to be true), WiFi, and 3G. The selling price is USD $399, and it is take pre-ordering now.

Sony Ericsson Website Said Xperia X2a Is Coming to US

Finally, Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 is coming to United States. The guys at Sony Ericsson today updated their website saying that the Xperia X2a (Sony Ericsson added an “a” for US version) is “coming soon”. I know it has been months since we saw the release of Xperia X2, so I bet you already forgot its features and specs. Here they are the complete features and specs. Pricing is still unknown.

Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Go to Verizon Wireless



The struggling smartphone maker, Palm, today announced that they will sell their latest PDA phone Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus through Verizon Wireless, instead of their old partner, Sprint PCS. These two latest smartphones that run on Palm’s WebOS operating system will be available at Verizon Wireless on January 25.
